An ACIDplex formulation of Boron designed specifically for foliar application to Oilseed rape, Sugar Beet, Brassicae, fruit and vegetable crops. It is unusual in that it produces a non-alkaline foliar Boron treatment for improved uptake and compatibility. Most rape crops are unable to obtain sufficient Boron from the soil during periods of rapid growth, and when rooting is restricted by seedbed conditions. Many soils are wholly deficient in Boron and a foliar application is essential for normal growth, often applied more than once as part of a nutrition programme with high potential crops responding to the greatest degree. BroadAcre Boron is unusual in offering quick and convenient mixing and extended agrochemical compatibility.
190 g/kg Boron
10 kg (2.5 to 5 Ha treated area) UN approved pack
2.0 to 4.0 kg/Ha in 100 to 300l/Ha water. From the three leaf stage and whenever the crop will benefit from foliar Boron up to pod filling. 2 kg/Ha should be applied in the autumn to facilitate good root growth and improve overwintering. The higher rates should always be used on autocast crops. Spring applications should take place following first nitrogen application, and then a second application after the start of flowering. The rate needs to be adjusted according to crop demand, and yield potential.
2.0 to 4.0 kg/Ha in 100 to 300l/Ha water. All crops grown on deficient soils will benefit from an early treatment, as soon as there is sufficient foliage to absorb the spray.
All deficiency susceptible crops may be treated without risk of damage. Autumn treatment is especially recommended to improve rooting, health and winter hardiness. Boron also contributes to disease resistance. Broadacre Boron can be added to Broadacre Rape and Pulse Mix to improve the levels of boron active ingredient required in some areas of the country @ an inclusion rate of 1 – 3 kg / ha Maximum .
Introduce into as large a volume of water as possible. Mixing using standard induction hoppers works well, do NOT attempt to premix. Unless specifically directed otherwise by an agrochemical requirement always mix powder and DF formulations FIRST.
This is a formulation that CAN be safely tank mixed with fungicides like Punch C /Contrast, Caramba, Filan as well as captan and iprodione. Apart from one or two exceptions (check with your agronomist if concerned) this product is exceptionally widely compatible for tank-mixing with agrochemicals.
It is intended for use in all situations where crops with good yield potential need nutritional support to reduce disease, optimise canopy development and increase pod numbers. It is easy to mix, and is very cost-effective at recommended application rates. It is much more effective and user-friendly than many alternatives.
