Drift control agents, such as RETARD, are adjuvants which reduce the proportion of small droplets which are prone to drifting.

Whilst the nozzle size, angle and pressure of the spray can all be controlled to minimise spray drift there is still a proportion of droplets which do not reach their intended agent.

This loss can be costly in terms of efficiency and also environmentally.
